It's great what some folks do to keep others entertained through these tough periods of lockdown. Yesterday I heard the sounds of an aircraft doing aerobatics and managed to capture the aftermath of a few stunts.
This became a regular occurance last year and it felt like we could head to the garden quite frequently to watch such stunts. Frequently a heart shape would be left in the sky from the smoke generating thingy that can be turned on and off.
Apparently this is a local aerobatic pilot called Tony Walsh who I gather competes against other pilots. I decided to have a Google today and he has a good bunch of videos on YouTube. The one below is pretty cool and shows the area in which I live.
THe videos are from Tony's YouTube page and are nothing to do with me.
You can see how flat the county of Norfolk is and the windfarm out to see. The town you can see on the coast is Great Yarmouth.
I thought I'd include this video too. For those of you who follow and view my photos, Tony is flying over the stretch of coast I walk along. At 1.05 is you may see the water tower that sometimes appears in my photos.
I've seen you can pay to be taken up for a flight so that might be something I save towards. I've never done anything like that and am generally a nervous wimp. Still, I quite fancy it.
