Dear friends of Steemit, today the sun has finally returned after 2 weeks of overcast. I immediately took the opportunity to go out for some shots, to learn how to use my "new" lens. In fact it is a bit old, it is a Vivitar 70/210mm MD mount for Minolta, which belonged to my uncle unfortunately missed last year, he used it on an old Minolta still roller camera.
Like many of you know, I use a Sony alpha that has E mount, but thanks to an adapter costing only 18 euros I was able to use all the lens of Minolta. Being a lens dated and not of the highest quality I bought a cheap adapter from Kecay, but I was satisfied with the precision, the game is almost non-existent and very stable.
I must say that using a totally manual lens is not easy, but I think it is an excellent school to learn to work on focusing... Due to the difficulties encountered it was not easy to find the shot to present you today, but insisting on I succeeded in my small goal. Immortalizing this kitten while preparing to surprise a prey.

Carissimi amici di Steemit, oggi finalmente dopo ormai 2 settimane di cielo coperto è tornato il sole. Ho approfittato subito dell'occasione per uscire in cerca di qualche scatto, per imparare ad usare la mia "nuova" ottica. In realtà è bella vecchiotta, si tratta di una Vivitar 70/210mm attacco MD per Minolta, che apparteneva a mio zio purtroppo mancato l'anno scorso, la usava appunto su una vecchia fotocamera Minolta ancora a rullino.
Come molti di voi sanno uso una Sony alpha che presenta una attacco E, ma grazie ad un adattatore del costo di soli 18 euro sono stato in grado di utilizzare tutte le ottiche della Minolta. Essendo ottiche datate e non di altissima qualità ho acquistato un adattatore economico della Kecay, ma sono rimasto soddisfatto dalla precisione, il gioco è quasi inesistente ed molto stabile.
Devo dire che usare un'ottica totalmente manuale non è semplicissimo, ma penso sia un'ottima scuola per imparare a lavorare sulla messa a fuoco... Proprio per le difficoltà incontrate non è stato facile trovare lo scatto da presentarvi oggi, ma insistendo alla fine sono riuscito nella mia piccola impresa. Immortalando questo gattino mentre si accingeva a sorprendere una preda.
