My grandmother had these bulbs, she called them "Rain Lilies "
They are a sensitive or tropical bulb but by taking them in each winter we have kept two pots alive. Each spring after the danger of frost is over I take them outside and water them and soon the flowers come up.
Every other year I take and divide the bulbs into two more pots hoping I can spread these lovely flowers.
When they bloom the effect is both indescribably beautiful but also brings back memories of my Grandmother and mother.
I am getting ready for this years blooms and look forward to another year of heirloom beauty.
