I am using this colorchallenge Sunday as an opportunity to share one of my favorite photos of my hometown Nuremberg (Nürnberg in German).

3 facts about this lovely city:

*2nd biggest city in Bavaria, Germany
*little over 500.000 inhabitants
*The Allied bombings (1943 to 1945) destroyed more than 90 percent of the city. However, the famous Imperial Castle escaped destruction and was later restored.
