A surfer decends the cliffs to the ocean below near La Jolla, CA. I've always been fascinated by surfing and its culture. I'm not a strong swimmer, and have stayed out of the waves, instead admiring the way a surfer navigates a wave from a distance. There is a certain combination or respect for nature and fearlessness that a surfer seems to possess, and it amazes me. It's even shown as they journey from car to water down the spine of a cliff.
Technical info: Shot handheld with a Nikon D600 and a Nikon 24-120 F4 lens at 1/250 , F 9, ISO 100. I always shoot in RAW and do 90% of my editing in Lightroom.
