Papilio maackii is a butterfly of the family Papilionidae. It is found in Central Asia, Japan, China, South Korea and Primorye (Asian part of Russia). There in the Far East are more than 2,000 species of butterflies, but it's one of the largest daytime butterflies in Russia. Maackii Machaon has more than one name - The maackii sailfish, the maackii Tail. The wingspan ranges from 12 to 14 cm.
