I'll often write sketches, tiny one-minute scenes, and take a screenshot of them to have something to show people what I'm working on. This usually happens while I'm walking the dog. A completely random scenario will fly into my ear, and, inconveniently, I do not have my notebook on me at that moment. So I'll rush home, sit down to write, and find myself with four or five sketches after penning the initial one. Here is one such sketch that takes place in the above-abandoned train car.
I also took a short trip about a month ago to Panama City beach to see my grandparents. That trip was overshadowed by some stress with the show I was working on at the time. I tried to distract myself with taking photos and listening to music. It partially worked. Their balcony overlooked the beach. I'm usually not one for beaches, but this was too good to pass up. (I also took the train car photo above.)
