I spent my Sunday at home... my grandparents had requested I visit as they needed to thank the heavens for preserving my life last week.
Where I call home is located 20kms Northeast of our capital city Nairobi... Locally known as 'Namba Kumi' which is Swahili for 'Number Ten'... a name coined by the locals in the colonization era and has tonnes of painful history.
Regardless of its history, my home is among my favourite places to hang out. The green paradise is one of the few parts of Kenya that allows Tea Farms to thrive. Though in this area it's usually done in small scale farming than places like Eldoret and Kericho... I still find the manicured bushes a sight to look at.
