Going to this Monster Truck event
was a first for me and I had a great time. What I would like to say is the sense that I got from this event was that the entire troupe was like a circus family.
The drivers and other troupe travellers
interacted with the crowd, the setup and tear down crew always seemed to be in motion getting ready for the next big trick.
If you couldn’t find a circus to run away with, a touring Monster Truck show might be the next best thing. Plus you don’t have animal activists after you like a traditional circus.
But you do kind have to worry about the environmentalists nowadays maybe. The air was pretty thick in that arena with all those huge motors pumping out exhaust in an enclosed arena.
I’m not quite sure who thought this was a good idea, or how they convinced people to pay for tickets to see it, but it was fun for sure. No denying that.
I’ll let the pictures I took do most of the talking.
Of course Big Foot is always the star of the show and the crowd favourite!
If you ever get a chance to see a Monster Madness show I would say it's worth going. I might suggest a decent charcoal mask from the hardware store and some good ear muffs!
