Introduction
Here are some IR shots I took today of a huge church that is near me. I am still amazed how weird some of these partial colour IR shots look.
One of the hardest things is trying to get the lighting right and consistent because it doesn't seem to necessarily be the same as the visible light.
Even a small change of position can change the exposure completely.
Sadly I couldn't get too close to the church due a fence and all the gates being locked. At some points the natural gradient of the road next to it allowed me to take photos without the fence in the way. At other points there was sufficient gap in the railings to point my lens through.

- Nikon D7100 Camera with 18-35mm lens.
- 590nm IR conversion.
- White balanced in Nikon View NX.
- Red and Blue Channels swapped in Photoshop.
- Final adjustments in Lightroom.
