It was stormy weather. Hiking through the coast of the bretagne. The atlantic ocean was wild and waves climbed up the cliffs of the french coast. In World War II this area became a graveyard for thousands of german and allied soldiers. Walking through the rough landscape touched my soul, I felt humbled.
At some point, after I had climbed a little cliff, suddenly this little ruin came into my frame. I loved the way it was standing there, framed on both sides by little rocks. This is almost ten years ago and I wonder, if the ruin is still standing there.
