This is Da Vien bridge near my house. The bridge was built in 2009 and completed in 2012, the bridge is 542.5m long (including the access road), 24.5m wide with four lanes and two pedestrian walkways. Along the bridge there are six gazebo so that people and tourists can sit and watch the scenery.
Bridge name is Da Vien but people in the place I often called the bridge "Dã Từ" (English means Bridge of Death) because of the high number of suicides and traffic accidents on the bridge. It is estimated that more than 60 people die on the bridge in 2017, more than half of which die of suicide and the remaining are due to traffic accidents.
In the past, there were many people gathered on the bridge to watch the scenery and the jog but now it is very little because of the gloomy, horror, deadly atmosphere of the bridge. Many times passing the bridge at night, I feel very scary also because of this atmosphere of the bridge.
Along with the suicides, of course, came the ghosts. Many believe the bridge has been cursed and there are many souls haunting the bridge.
There is this story too, I hear people say that this summer there will be many suicides on the bridge because the world cup will take place this summer...
