Comparison images for you to review. If you ever wanted to get an in depth look at using Capture One here's your chance. I've found that using Capture One is by far superior than Lightroom when working on ARW files from a Sony A7r.
I have found that I get results that are far superior on many occasions. Your results and editing style/taste will vary, naturally.
They do some trash talking about DNG and why you might want to consider not ever converting to that format. Certain components are stripped away - they are recommending keeping files in their native format when storing long term. They go into how to use Capture One Pro which is somewhat a shift from how we use LR.
Here's a quick test I did with minimal processing - roughly the same point used to set white point. I have not gone in and done any additional color modifications like removing magenta/purple saturation, spot removal or tried to remove the greenish cast from the lighting on the surface of the museum. Note the shadow information on the Capture One shot as well as the contrast on the reflected lights from the city - bottom right.
