On my last journey to Crete (a Greek island) I visited a town called Spili. It is situated at an altitude of 430m above the sea level and the name comes from a greek word spilia which means cave. Pretty interesting place, definitely worth visiting. I'd like to share with you one of the photos I've taken there, because I think it looks really cool :D
What you can see on the photo below is a Venetian fountain called "Kefalovrissi". It consists of 2 rows of carved stone lion heads (25 heads in total), and each of them has water pouring out of their mouths. The water comes from the Psiloritis mountain and is really clear.
