Steemians, instead of political discussions I am posting instead to Monochrome Monday by Hive account@old-guy-photos - some photos from an old town in Germany - Bad Homburg! Bad stands for "Bath" in German and I had the pleasure to visit the city recently during a trip to Frankfurt.

Bad Homburg is located in the Hochtaunuskreis, Germany, and a part of the Frankfurt Rhein-Main urban area. The city is famous mainly for his casino and its medically used mineral waters and spa, therefore the prefix Bad which means "bath" in English.

The region and the city is one of the wealthiest areas across Germany, Bad Homburg is usually competing with Starnberg near Munich, they use a very interesting marketing claim too "Champagne air and tradition".
