I'll start with the random fact that I'm afraid of birds. When I was little a rooster sort of attacked me, he chased me for a few meters. I was at my grandparent's old farm, it was almost 20 years ago and I still remember it as it was yesterday. At that time they used to have few animals, chickens, hens, some pigs and a couple of horses and cows, and of course.. Roosters. That day all I remember was getting into the "chicken's pen" (I don't even know how it's called) to play with the little chickens and one rooster got me! Since that day, I've been so scared of all types of birds.
It's not a phobia, I can be around them I just rather not. I wouldn't have a bird as a pet or get close to a bird for my own will. Yesteday I went to a friends country house and for my own surprise.. SHE HAD A RED MACAW. I'm not gonna lie, the bird was beautiful but it still had that beak and bird claws.. Uuugh, it gave me chills! After co-existing in the same physical space for a while with Leandro (that's the name of the feathered beast), I felt less worried about him, to the point I got like so close to take him a photo with my phone.
With all this been said, I must admit I admire those people who love taking photos of birds, for two reasons: First it's so hard, they're never still and second, they're sneaky. This reminds me of a Steemit friend who has many amazing photos of birds, that's you
, see? I'm overcoming my fear.
