A 'Rock On' Girl
Observing surroundings
Some people use their smartphones to stoop their heads towards it and make their eyes stick to the screen. I saw them walking around the city, driving cars, bicycles, sitting at the coffee shops... Everywhere! I am not any different at some moments of my everyday life. But most of the time, my smartphone is a tool to capture and froze the moments of this everyday life. It is used to show me a different spotlight to the same buildings and the same roads I have walked so many times. Yesterday was one of this days. Take a look how did my smartphone come in handy while wondering my hometown, the center of Croatian capital, Zagreb.
A 'Rock On' Girl - different perspective
This girl is me! She is small, playful and showing her belly off! This is how I reflected it. She is surrounded by the lovers, friends and tourists, sitting in the center of the park and smiling to her childish thoughts. Rock on, my little girl! Rock it all on! 🍭
Mana fountain
This place is a teenager's spot for making selfies. Watching them posing for their social media, inspired me to wonder about what mark will this photo make? A sunbeam warmly touched me and suggested my creativity to capture the falling crystals. Refreshing and nurturing my inner being, there is no other title for this one but Mana Fountain. Teenager's copied me. 😋
A Rainbow Call
Everyone in Zagreb will remember this Pokemon Go Rush Spot, but yesterday's reflection of the Sun shined a rainbow in a glance of an eye. I approach it to make a photo. Couldn't catch it with my smartphone, but this moment reminded me of the meditation from a day before. Next, something totally random and unreal happened. On the grass I found some coins. Usually, this wouldn't impress me so much, but when I realized that the amount of money is the same as the amount I used to buy my tram ticket was pretty insane! For me this was a spiritual moment, my smile was wide and deep.
The Guardian
Relaxing point at Kaptol for all the tourists visiting Zagreb. Often, they are trying to capture the whole image of this Queen Cathedral, leaning their whole bodies to the ground. She is so great that you can see those two beautiful towers all around Zagreb, thanks to Herman Bolle. But, this shiny golden guardian near her mesmerizing beuty often stays unnoticed. Yesterday, I didn't forgot him. I remembered one of our selfies from the past. His shining beauty made me totally irrelevant at the taken photo. To his glory, I dedicate this image to all our guardians.
A Noon-Boom Tower
Every noon a cannon of Kula Lotrščak, (Lotrščak Tower) is scaring people and birds of Zagreb with the loud boom. But on this, almost like painted image, people weren't scared. I imagined them trying to find the best spot for capturing their moments above the old Zagreb roofs.
Tetris Roof
Surrounded by the government parlament, in which people for sure use their smartphones for politicization, this hundred years old beauty will always be a memory weaker and a breath taker. The roof is mesmerizing and turist reactions are so funny to notice. One of this reactions was the title I gave to this image of St. Marko's Church.
BeeBee
Remember, although Zagreb has a free WI-FI in the city center, bees doesn't use smartphones. They just buzz!
