Hier sind noch ein paar Bilder aus meiner Fotoserie von Industriestandorten im Ruhrgebiet.
Die meisten Gebäude sind mittlerweile über 100 Jahre alt und haben ihre ganz eigenen Geschichten zu erzählen. Durch die Witterungsverhältnisse hat sich im laufe der Zeit eine schöne Patina gebildet. Auch die formalistische Architektur hat mich immer sehr beeindruckt.
Some more of my pictures of former industrial sites all over the Ruhrgebiet. These are now quite places but if you listen carefully they have their whole own story to tell. Hard-working people have left their mark over the years and effects of weathering over the last one hundred years formed a beautiful patina everywhere.
The formalist architecture impresses me even today.
