Hi! My name is Victoria and I'm from Chattanooga, TN. It's known as the Scenic City and won best outdoor city by Outside Magazine. This city is the reason I could turn my dreams into a reality and become a photographer. Outside of that I am an office manager and event planner. I enjoy many aspects of life and inspire to dream and live big. It's a big world and I plan to see as much of it as I can.
I mostly enjoy design and photography and am anxious to try blogging/writing with my post here on Steemit.
My friend Kimmie took this photograph of me last summer in a sunflower field full of blooms here in Tennessee.
I am a sucker for sunrise and sunset. Here I woke up and drove over an hour to a National Park I had never been to watch the sunrise at the Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park. I got there about an hour before sunrise and it was already packed!! There was very limited space for a tripod after the first 2 dozen people or so filled the front of the arch. I did manage to squeeze into a spot that had a hair ball of branches right in front of me. HAHA!!
I married the love of my life and my biggest supporter. He encourages and motivates me to follow my dreams.
Do go chasing waterfalls! TLC got that song so wrong. I am obsessed with waterfalls and explore new ones every chance I get. I love the challenge and look of long exposure photography. There's also something about the music the waterfall brings to my ears. My connection with nature is far deeper than what any city life could bring.
Last October my husband and I spent 10 days exploring National Parks for our 1 year anniversary. It was also the 100th anniversary of the national parks and we spent those 10 days hiking 100 miles! We explored Utah's mighty five: Zion, Bryce, Canyonlands, Arches, and Capitol Reef and also went to the Grand Canyon.

I am very passionate about life and living life to the fullest and being happy every day. I am pursuing a career in event planning as well as photography knowing that I can wake up everyday and be excited about what I am doing.
(Until National Geographic hires me to be a professional explorer)

So this has been a pretty brief introduction now that I am to my last photograph here. Follow me on my adventures and get to know me better. I live life on the edge and I love having fun! Not much scares me and I am willing to take risk. I am certainly willing to do what it takes to capture the photographs I want. After all, we only live once and need to make the most of it!
I'm looking forward to posting more on Steemit and becoming a member of this community!
