Hi Steemians! Today I would like to share a small selection of my favourite wedding photographs I took in 2017! I hope you enjoy! - Verity x
2017 was a crazy year for us, and our business! We started the year speaking at a conference over in Portland. We had spent months rehearsing but nothing could prepare us for the feeling of speaking to over 350 photographers from across the World on a huge stage! It was crazy and a moment we will never forget! 2017 then took us to Rome for an engagement session and a wedding in France the following month. Then to Romania to speak at another photography conference, after that a few weeks back at home in which Chris did a half iron man, not much rest for us there! Only one more week later and we were off to Singapore for 2 weeks for a 3 day wedding. It was hot, really really hot, and immense pressure with royalty and the deputy Prime minister of Singapore present too. It was definitely a wedding we will always remember, and Singapore really did steal our hearts! After we got home we realised destination weddings would now take a back seat for us, we love the UK and whilst we are forever grateful for the couples who have flown us around the World we feel so at home here and feel the UK has so much to offer. So 2017 also saw a change in our business, after 8 years we have shot over 300 weddings and want to slow down, we want more to time ourselves and maybe follow new passions. But what 2017 did teach us was how much we love what we do, meeting our couples and capturing moments for them that they can treasure forever really is the most rewarding thing we could think of. I am so glad I can share these moments here and I hope you enjoy looking through some of my favourites here!
