Good afternoon guys... today I will tell you about the Royal Welsh Show, an event that happens every single year in Wales. This is the biggest event in Wales, where thousands of farmers, farmers' families and friends are going to bring animals, buy animals, do auctions to buy animals etc etc...
I was there in official role... so actually I was there as vet and I had several chat with farmers and curious people asking info about several diseases. It was very interesting and I really enjoyed the time spent there... seeing cattle shows, sheep auctions... horses... I mean I wish I could have spent more time there to check every single stand :).
I am sorry if I have added several photos but I couldn't choose which one is better than the other as for me are all so nice and significative. As you can see in some photo I have shown how the animals were kept to be sold... then there was a big stand plenty of chairs and a couple of man doing an auction... crazy literally crazy :) people screaming and creating a different offer for the same animal... very nice indeed.
Then as I have spent hours far away from my girlfriend, I have seen a stand with a woman hand crafting rings, necklaces and ear rings... so I was attracted by one pair of earring so I bough them as a gift for my girlfriend... that do you know what? She didn't like them as for her this kind of earrings are for old women :( I will have to give to someone else will like them.
I do like them and the orange is so nice anyway in this picture doesn't seem that nice... it is for me!

Buon giorno a tutti ragazzi oggi vi parlerò del perché sia stato cosi impegnato questa settimana da non poter scrivere i miei consueti 2 posts al giorno. Questa settimana c'e' stato un evento importante in Galles, una fiera nazionale dove migliaia e migliaia di allevatori, famiglie di allevatori, amici ma anche semplicemente curiosi... si son uniti in un unico grande evento.
Tutto era focalizzato sulla compravendita di animali da allevamento... quindi per lo più vacche e pecore... anche se ho visto diversi cavalli, capre e qualche coniglio. Si sa alla fine ogni occasione e' buona per poter vendere anche altro.
Beh io ero li in veste ufficiale quindi non potevo proprio andare a cazzeggio se non quando facevo una decina di minuti di pausa. In quelle circostanze giravo tra gli stands alla ricerca di qualcosa di interessante... c'era lo stand del cibo dove ti trovavi tutti i formaggi, salami, salsicce locali... poi stands che facevano gelati che costavano un occhio della testa ma son prezzi standards in UK e poi stands che vendevano gadget vari.
Ho fatto diverse foto ai tori, vacche e pecore che mi erano attorno... certi animali assurdi che non potevo che ammirare. Vacche da carne con una massa muscolare indescrivibile.
Vabbe' a fine giornata dopo che mi son mangiato anche 2 gelati ho deciso di far un giro prima che tutti in negozietti chiudessero in modo da comprar qualcosa alla mia ragazza. Avevo trovato una signora che faceva bigiotteria fatta a mano... delle cose a mio avviso carinissime... cosi mi son avvicinato e ho comprato degli orecchini arancioni stupendi... almeno il colore era molto bello ed acceso... beh torno a casa tutto contento di portar questo regalino alla mia ragazza glielo do e lei mi fa... ma no babe lo sai che non mi piacciono queste cose... mi san tanto di donna anziana! Beh li mi son cadute le braccia a terra (per non dire altro) quindi ora mi piango sto orecchini che dovrò regalare a qualche altra persona.
