Currently testing the Steemit waters here. I'm considering creating a new tutorial series that teaches photography. I'm not completely sure if I want to do this as a series of videos or just photos w/ text, but I'd start with the basics and work up to more complicated forms of the art.
This will be aimed at those who have either just purchased a new camera, who are thinking about buying one, or who already own one and are simply interested in knowing more about how to use it more efficiently.
The installments would go over such topics as the following:
- What kind of camera should I buy?
- What's this dial that says "P-A-S-M / P-Tv-Av-M" and what are these other picture modes?
- What's the difference between a "crop body" and a "full-frame body"?
- Shutter Speed
- Aperture
- ISO
- Lenses & Focal Length
- Flashes
- How to shoot specific types of photos, such as portraits, landscapes, macros, and perhaps a bit of astrophotography (IFL space!)
- Light modifiers such as bounces, scrims, and flash domes.
- & Basic Photo Editing using Adobe Photoshop CC.
More will probably be added to the list as I begin making these posts, but that's the gist of it so far.
What do you think?
Does this sound like something the community would be interested in?
