Last summer I visited Madrid with my family. The last day we decided to go to the Royal Botanic Garden. What an excellent choice it was! There we saw all kinds of plants, more than I had ever imagined: small and big, regional and exotic, terrestrial and aquatic... But there was this particular flower I saw in one of the greenhouses. These greenhouses were by the way climatized to different biomes: dessert, tropical and rainforest.
Now, in the rainforest area, and this is why I'm writing this short post, I saw one of the coolest flowers I've ever seen, even more impressive than most orchids. The curious thing about this flower is that it hangs upside down from a tree. So... without further ado, I present you THE FLOWER.
