Here's a hand-tinted postcard postmarked Oct. 26, 1945. Info on the back: "RADIO CITY Truly called the show place of the world houses the world's largest auditorium, countless famous gardens, exhibits, etcetera. This group of buildings is virtually a city within itself."
Looks like things have grown up a little bit around there in the past 73 years.
