Today, we'll start working our way through about 100 old photos found in a big fat photo album that had a label on the outside "EDIE'S FAMILY". Thankfully, most of the pictures inside were arranged chronologically and several of them had date-stamps on them and/or handwritten notes on the back.
This very old (circa 1910-ish) and damaged picture was on the first page. In it, we see the patriarch and matriarch of the family, Guiseppe and Anna Parziale. I presume that's their first child with them - first of 13 children!
This second picture gives a very good history of them!
And here's a certified copy of Guiseppe's birth certificate from 1887!
