Good afternoon, Hivers!
How are you today? I hope well.
Today I wanted to share with you some photos I took a few years ago of the stained glass windows in the Church of Reconciliation in Taizé. Taizé is a small village, located in the south-west of France, which I made a post about (@xrayman/taize-community-a-unique-place-where-prayer-meets-silence-and-sharing)
The magic of the place, as well as the people who travel there, as well as the community that always welcomes us with open arms, leaves hope for a brighter future for the world. The World of indifference to the suffering of others, or wars with completely outlandish purposes that only serve their own interests, harming those who are being attacked, and those who are FORCED to participate in the attack... I hope that, in the not too distant future , this reality, which is not close to me (fortunately), but which I fear as if it were ending, and with the end of it that peace will replace death and bloodshed without any reason to happen.
Excuse my words, a little more politicized, but it is a subject that plagues me daily, the suffering of a nation (in fact) two nations, because the Russian people also suffer from the war, without any minimally rational justification.
That said, I leave you this beautiful set of photographs of the stained glass windows present in the Church of Reconciliation (it has this name, because the founder of the Community always had in mind the reconciliation of peoples through Love and Faith, without using Religion as a fracture point or cleavage, but rather as a starting point for building a lasting and conciliatory Peace).
