Welcome to another post in the Street Art community!
Today the number of photos unfortunately doesn't do justice to the impact that the work has, nor its importance since it is completely associated with the place where it is.
Located in an area of urbanization very close to Lisbon Airport, and with an important surrounding of parks and very important green spaces, Alta de Lisboa is an area that, despite bordering some areas considered to be social housing, or with less favorable urban conditions, this contrast/shock has been somewhat attenuated by the architecture of the surrounding green spaces, with leafy parks and a wide range of cultural activities. In the future, I'll share one of these free cultural activities that I attended one weekend, and which I'm already looking forward to repeating with other similar social activities.
This artist's work has already undergone changes. These photos are not as recent as the latest changes. I'll have to look through them and take new photos so that I can share the new content and news here!
This work was done by the artist RAF, whose fantastic work I've already shared on my blog previously.
Originally named Rui Ferreira, he is an artist who stands out from many others because of his unique view of his surroundings. As I told you, this work is located in the upper part of Lisbon, near the Rotunda dos Corvos (Ravens), which alludes to the raven, a symbol of the city of Lisbon and its toponymic surroundings.
It's clear to see the driving force and the strong image he wants to convey; very much in line with his aesthetic.
Here's a link to the location of the work:
