Riders on the storm

With a blue sky, a storm, sunset, and tropical islands it has been called paradise many times. These are the original islands that inspired Alex Garland for the book "The Beach" in 1996. Most people think that the story takes place near Koh Phi Phi when in fact it is not on the west coast but on the east coast in the Gulf of Thailand. These islands on the horizon are part of an archipelago of 27 islands named Mu Ko Ang Thong. In the story, they are going back to the Full Moon Party that takes place on Koh Phangan.
