Nervous system of the leaf

Today was a real nice weather and we had a nice walk with my son. Over two hours we spent outside playing in the playground, walking on the road, and looking at agricultural machinery.

As I was sitting on the ground I noticed how beautiful the leaves look in front of the sun. When I looked closer I noticed every little line connected with each other and back to the steam. These small lines collect air and sunlight and transfer the energy back to the tree. They are like lungs and skin of the tree. It looks like a human beings nervous system in close up.

I could not resist to take a photo with my phone, and on the photo the leaf looks even better because you can enjoy it up closer and even when it's dark outside.

Nature is so beautiful, I love to enjoy it every day while we have long walks with my son. I will share more finding with you when we have our next walk.
