Here you can see what has happened on one of Limassol (Cyprus) beaches today. Compare it with the way it had been looking before!
As a teacher, I usually have long holidays and go to warmer countries for a month or even longer, that is why I try not to spend much on my accommodation, well, for the beach facilities, too. On the photo above you can see my beautiful blue beach umbrella and the beach towel which let me save money - 5 euros per day by the sea. It can be my first tip.
Number 2 is the thing which helps me fix my umbrella in the sand.
Tip number 3 is the hanger which helps me keep my stuff dry in situations like what happened to me today.
l was reading a book on my towel on the beach when suddenly found myself half covered in sea water mixed with sand. Brrr, a horrible feeling! It was high tide (or anything else?). But all my things, including my treasure, my telephone, were safe and dry because of this small gadget:
I had a different umbrella today but it does not matter.
The last tip number 4:
It is the best thing for those who love to read on the beach. Instead of a pillow I put it under my head. It is very light and easy to carry and use:
