The Great Mosque of Bujang Salim is a Sub-district Mosque or officially called the Great Mosque, but this mosque is the only mosque at its level in all sub-districts in Aceh that has earned the title of the Grand Mosque of the National Pilot and the following data:

So Bujang Salim Mosque also conducts District activities for the western region of Aceh Utara such as Maulid and breaking the fast together.

Masjid Besar Bujang Salim adalah Masjid tingkat Kecamatan atau secara resmi disebut Masjid Besar, namun Masjid ini adalah satu-satunya Masjid pada tingkatannya di seluruh Kecamatan di Aceh yang memperoleh gelar Masjid Besar Percontohan Nasional dan berikut datanya :

Maka Masjid Bujang Salim juga melaksanakan kegiatan Kabupaten untuk wilayah barat Aceh Utara seperti Maulid dan Buka puasa bersama.
