First thing Lady-boss wants us to tell: We are really sorry you haven't heard from us in such a very long time. But fact is that we all had a hard time dealing with the loss of our beloved Lexxieboy. We were not ourselves for a long time, and soon after Lady-boss had other things on her mind. So she didn't feel like writing down our stories ... But we did care for her and now she said, I AM READY AGAIN. So ... here we are, we are back on the blockchain dear friends! And ready to share our stories with you. The first one is an older memory from Myla.
As soon as snow starts to fall down, Myla can't help it. She just must think back to about five years ago ... there was plenty of snow and ... well come on all, Enjoy this little secret what Rowan doesn't want Myla to tell, and what Myla is going to share with all of you Steemians!
Myla starts woofing the story.
We were out with the Lady-boss, she drove the car to a nice area to walk and play and Lady-boss was playing with us on a big field She had our blue ball from home with her, ooohh woof, and we just love to run, woof and play with the ball.
Lady-Boss throws the ball away, and Rowan en I run behind it to get it back to Lady-Boss as fast as we can. Actually, I am always the one who wins! You had not seriously thought that "The White One" could win from me? Hey think again! I'm much faster then he is ... but sometimes I LET him win and have the ball for a while. After all we lady's are smart enough to know how to play the man's ego.
But that day I was in a good mood, after all, it was wonderful to be together in the snow to have some woofing fun ... and in that good mood I have wished the ball to Rowan. And he was happy, and yes ... he was also very handsome. I was pretty crazy about my big handsome white friend.
But I thought it was very dangerous to see HOW he handled the ball. I myself always just take the whole ball in my mouth. That is much easier and you don't get traumas. But Rowan of course had to work it somehow else, and I said to him ... "Rowan, you don't handle the ball well".
But yes, my big white friend did not want to listen and the ball was getting a little harder. Which I started to run to him because I saw the accidents happen already. I was very fast, but couldn't prevent it from happening anymore.
I was woofing and really barking at him ... but he simply did not listen. And yes ... even before I had come to him to take the ball from him ... it happened. The ball soared on his handsome white head.
We were both shocked and I heard Lady-boss calling "ROWAN!" I barked to her that she could stay calm. I would solve it. I had already figured out what I would do. Because as a very small puppy I learned First Dog Help At Accidents. And now I would apply it to my white friend. I somehow managed to take Rowan on my back!
And carry him off the field and, and I wanted to lay him down softly in the snow, but woof, that was a little different. I dropped him in the snow ... well woofed, and the effect was the same! He would recover quickly enough from the cold snow, and Lady-boss and I didn't have to wait long for him to recover. He was there very quickly again ... if he felt completely good? I doubt that ... But back then we couldn't know it for sure. Only time could tell!
Now years later ... He still says that he was feeling fine and that he still is feeling fine. I still have my doubts if there wasn't something broken in his head back then ... but hey, secretly I know he is and will always be my boy. Even though I loved Lexxieboy very much ...
