Just Dance

Original @Boyerobert post here. Here is a proud dad moment. These shots were taken last weekend at my daughters dance recital. She has been dancing since the age of 4 and is pretty much amazing. I hope one day she could get a scholarship for college or university however lets not get ahead of ourselves. Typically the seats are first come first serve however this year we had assigned seats. Last year we were in the noise bleed section, so I decided to bring my mega zoom bazooka lens. Wellll it was a little too much lens as the seats this time where pretty awesome. I should of brought my 28mm-300mm lens instead. Needless to say I didn't zoom in at all the entire show :-) I was zoomed out as much as possible however at the lowest range I was still at 200mm. As you can observe below I was unable to get the hands and feet in the same frame, well one shot as they were walking from the back of the stage ;-) Regardless these pictures capture the mood and essence of the dance my daughter was performing. No flash, unedited, what I shot is what you see below.
