#1151 - Some Chinatown Shots for Monday.
A warm Monday greeting to our incredible Hive family everywhere! Wishing you all a safe and happy Monday. May you find good energy and have plenty of reasons to smile. Keep shining bright and stay positive😍.
For our daily shots, once a weekend with my wife, our 18 yearold son Joaquin and I with a quick break to Binondo, Manila. For those who don't know, this place is special because it is recognized as the oldest Chinatown in the world. The streets were busy with people, cars and that atmosphere you only get there.
Instead of sitting down in one fancy restaurant, we did a food crawl like we always do. We wanted to try a little bit of everything from the different Chinese food houses in the busy streets. It was so much better going from one stall to another. We bought small amounts of takeaways. We shared each dish as we walked. It felt like a real adventure because we got to taste so many different flavors.
The best part was that we spent less than 1000 pesos for the three of us. It was honestly a steal considering how much food we enjoyed.
We made sure to take plenty of photos with the busy street. Joaquin had a great time. We spotted a nearby Starbucks and headed inside. We ordered matcha drink for me and some coffee and chocolate drink for Joaquin and wife. It was a simple, affordable weekend getaway with the family.
