#1158 - Sunset at Pagudpud Ilocos Norte Shots for Tuesday.
A wonderful Tuesday dear Hive family across the globe! I hope everyone is having a great day so far. Wishing you all a smooth and peaceful Tuesday. May you find moments of joy amidst your daily tasks and keep a positive spirit. Stay safe, keep smiling and enjoy the journey called life☺️.
Now for our daily shots after a long, winding drive up the northern coastline, we finally arrived at Villa Izakaya in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. We had booked this spot for a couple of nights, a quiet escape from the exhausting daily grind of the Metropolitan city.
Villa Izakaya has this wonderful transient house vibe. It doesn’t feel like a formal resort. Right at the back of the house, a few steps down the path was the sea. We didn't have to cross busy streets, the ocean was practically sitting right in our backyard.
As the late afternoon approached, we noticed the light outside beginning to change. The harsh midday sun already getting low and the sky with shades of gold and pink. Now the best scenery wasn't somewhere far away from here but it was happening right behind our temporary home.
We walked down the backyard and stepped into the shallow waters. The tide was low and only reaching up to our calves. It was cool, clean and refreshing. The sky exploded into orange. It was the kind of view that makes you stop talking mid sentence and just stare in pure awe.
We stayed here in the shallow water. We stayed dipped in the shallow water until the sun finally went below the horizon. It was the most unforgettable first afternoon in Pagudpud.
