#431 - At the Cloud9 surfing spot.
Good Saturday evening beautiful Hiveans. Before I proceed with my photos of the day let me share our experience yesterday afternoon when we went out a a walk at the river area. It was still sunny when we rode the jeepney and even when we alighted at the bridge where we always start our walk, I just noticed a bit of dark clouds still far from where we are. So we started walking fast and we have a good amount of sweat released from our sweat glands and when we are halfway of the journey the bright afternoon changed rapidly and there was darkness in a instant and then after a couple of minutes there's a single drop of rain water coming down then it multiplies๐. We were still far away from the buildings in the river area and running could be impossible before we get there so we decided to take shelter in a huge group of bamboos along the path but the rain get's worse and the bamboos could no longer cover us from it. So we packed our phones and wallets in plastics then walked fast going to the nearest building while the rain is heavy, we were already wet at this point. Then I saw the small hut use by a farmer near the river and there are also people there taking shelter, the walk will still take sometime before we can reach the buildings so we went to the hut and joined the others.
My wife got mad at me because we were soak in rain water ๐ but she eventually calmed down. We had to wait for the rain to pass for almost an hour, while waiting our garments were also starting to dry a bit then we thanked the farmer and left when the rain has already stopped. We went straight to the mall though still wet a bit, we ate dinner there and went home. What an afternoon that was, it was unexpected.๐
So for our photos today, let me continue sharing images taken in Siargao when we visited there for a 3 days vacation. This first image is in the surfing spot and it was afternoon when we arrived there and took shots of the surrounding areas. The clouds were there too while the surfers are enjoying the waves far from the shore.

Coconut trees growing in abundance along the shore. This path leads to the surfing area not far from the end of those coconuts.
A board showing stuffs about surfing etiquettes and spots where there are waves to ride on.
More coconut trees and that wooden bridge on the right is the way going to the board walk.
And here we are at the boardwalk with the wife posing, in the background is now the lost wooden walkway and house which also serves a picture spot for tourists. These wooden boardwalk was all swept away by the typhoon that hit the island previously.๐
