#617 - La Union shots for today.
Great evening dear Hivers. Last week, I joined my wife's team who have decided to go to La Union for a two day vacation. They rented a van and my wife arranged our shares or contribution for the rent of the vehicle and also the rent of the transient house we are going to stay in for the next two days.
On our second day of stay, they decided to go to the waterfalls they called Tangadan falls which is atleast thirty minutes away from the beach. So we went there with a van and at the municipal hall of the town where the falls is, we rented a jeepney which will bring us to the waterfalls. The jeepney is required because there is a steep climb and the road is narrow which can only fit one vehicle at a time.
These are some of our photos with the jeepney. This is the whole team of my wife that came to this travel. That's the blue jeepney we rented and the guide took the photo.
Another shot with only a few of us on the frame and only two on the top load of the jeepney.
We were on top of the jeepney as it is on its way. The road is concrete already here but narrow. I was sitting on the extra tire on the top load.
The whole team inside the jeepney. There is only a certain part on the road that visitors are allowed to stay on top of the jeepney hence we are all inside.
Another shot of us at the top of the vehicle. I used the GoPro camera that was brought by one of my wife team mates.
Then we also visited the man made forest which is a lot farther. We went here on our last day and we all wore whites. There is a chicken farm within this area and the smell of manure is in the air. There are several vehicles passing from time to time but I managed to sat on the middle of the road.
The whole team on the middle of the road and the photo was taken by an ice cream vendor who has been selling there to visitors.
Follow me on my nature travels.
