#859 - Bakun Hike Trail Shots for Monday.
A lovely Monday evening fellow beautiful Hiveans. It's the first day of the week and as usual had to woke up early before five to prepare the breakfast of my son who had to go to school early also. He doesn't wanted to go at seven o'clock because the traffic is already heavy and it's difficult to get a vacant spot inside the jeepneys. Then after prepping the meal, I woke him up also as he needs to do some of his daily exercises for his scoliosis. Then after he left for school, I also started to wash our laundry for a week plus the laundry we got from Benguet wherein my wife and I stayed there for five days. It's a tiring day for me after washing the laundry, then in the afternoon I also had to fold most of it while some were left to hang because it's not yet dry completely.
Now going to our daily shots, let me share a glimpse of what we had when we hiked the mountain call Mount Kabunian which is almost two hours drive from Atok, where we spent two nights. We didn't know that there's a place to stay at Poblacion Bakun which is a lot cheaper. But now we know, the place we stayed at in Atok costs 500 pesos per head while in Bakun it's 350 pesos only, though the downside is the place is so remote there's only a few numbers of residents and no eatery to eat it but there's an option to bring your own and cook your meal. Now as we stepped out onto the trail, the sun's warm rays kissed our skin, bathing us in a golden glow that seemed to infuse our very being with life and energy.
The air was alive with the scent of pine and earth, mingling with the distant aroma of wildflowers and fresh dew.
Before us stretched a verdant landscape, the trail winding its way through a tapestry of green vegetation and towering pine trees that seemed to stretch up towards the heavens like giants.
The sunlight filtered through the canopy above, casting dappled patterns of light and shadow across the forest floor.
The sky above was a brilliant blue, its clarity unmarred by the haze of city life. The sun itself seemed to blaze down upon us, its warmth seeping into our very bones as we breathed in the crisp, clean air which has been for a while. There's more shots like these soon...😉
