#865 - Kapurpurawan Rock Formation Shots for Saturday.
Good evening once again dearest Hivean friends. As the weekend began and Saturday night approached, I hope you can find a moment of peace amidst the gloomy but warm weather that we are experiencing here in Metro Manila. May your heart be light and your spirit free and may you and family find joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as washing the laundry which I did midday today after taking a nap because we were out early for a walk with me and the wife. Wishing you a lovely evening filled with warmth and contentment and as you rest and recharge in preparation for the adventures that lie ahead.
Moving on now to our shots of the day we had here a scorching midday sun beats down on the vast expanse of the grassy fields. Me, my son, the wife and a friend set off on a journey to the famed Kapurpurawan Rock Formation. As we walk along the cultivated path, the heat of the day becomes almost unbearable and beads of sweat form on our faces haha. The air is thick with the scent of wild grasses and the distant aroma of the ocean which seems to beckon us closer to the rocks.
After what feels like an eternity of walking we finally reach the edge of a shallow, a white rocky valley with a series of striking white limestone formations eroded by wind and water into intricate shapes and patterns. The limestone formations stand out in stark contrast to the surrounding landscape, their pure white surface gleaming in the sunlight like a series of ghostly apparitions which is kinda painful to the eyes if not wearing a shades.
The scene before our very eyes is both haunting and beautiful, a testament to the power of nature and the passage of time. As we stood in awe of the rock formations, can't help but feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over my senses, a welcome respite from the heat and chaos of the midday.
The sight of this Kapurpurawan Rock Formation with its stark white limestone formations and breathtaking beauty is a sight to behold and one that will stay with me long after we lefr this place and return to the realities of the world.
Follow me on my nature travels.
