I was a little bit lazy this week, because we had so much to do, so I didn’t have time for writing and sharing my stories. It was just awesome week. My friend is getting married on Saturday, so it was time for the bridal shower. Traditional pre-entertainment party, which means that future bride together with her friends symbolically says goodbye to her single life. And this party must be unforgettable. And it was 😊
Bridal showers are a little bit different here in Slovenia. We were planning this party for months because we wanted to be just perfect. And we succeeded. Our bride was so happy and hmm drunk too 😊
Our trip started on Friday. We got together at our house, where the limousine picked us up and took us to another town, where live our bride. Her fiancé helped us to surprise her, so he took her outside to have dinner. It was a fake dinner, but she didn't know that, and then, all of the sudden a limousine came with girls jumping, singing and screaming brides name :)
She was in shock, crying and laughing at the same time. All of her best friends in one place. So, the party started. We were driving around from town to town, screaming and waving at people, of course, they were waving back, that is kind of tradition here so everybody knows what is going on here ;) She didn't know what have we planned for her, this way was much more interesting.
Our first stop was in this beautiful Slovenian town - Jeruzalem. These apartments are located on the most beautiful location of the Jeruzalem vineyards.
Here is this beautiful panoramic terrace, which offers a view that is just incredible. The view stretches from Pomurje to Podravje. You can see hundreds of vineyards. The first day was for relaxation. We settled down on the terrace and began to party. We played various games and each one also enjoyed in wellness. Sauna, relaxing bath and chat with friends. Simply wonderful. At three in the night, we all went down - some because of alcohol and some of us because of too much laughing :) So time to sleep because the next day will be tense and our bride needs to be ready for her next challenge.
After morning coffee it was time to return to the bride's hometown. There was time for some challenges because, we needed to be sure she is ready for marriage. After so intensive challenges and questions about her future husband, we announced, that she is ready. She received the certificate that she can marry him. It was time for her last challenge. A week earlier we prepared little gifts. It means, our bride is selling them. So, who is buying a gift, also gets a glass of wine.
She needed to sold them all, so we were walking around the town and selling them. After 3 hours and a lot of stops, we've sold them all, so it was time for the last visit to our favorite bar. Time for eating, drinking, dancing, a lot of singing and I was surprised that we still managed to do this - the one and only limbo. didn't drink, so I was in charge of controlling the amount of alcohol consumed. My girls are incredible. So many alcohol and they still manage to do limbo :) I was laughing like crazy 😊 Around 11 o'clock our bride started to sleeping behind the table, so it was time to went home :)
She is ready to get married and I can't be more excited, because this two are just perfect for each other.
We are friends for about 19 years now, and I'm so proud of her. Our little doctor :*
