Was Piggy a leader on the island?
-No, as much as he’d have liked to, and as much as he should have been, he wasn’t. If given the required respect, his logic would’ve made him an excellent leader
Was he a good leader?
-He would have been, because his logic and smarts could get them rescued
Is it his fault things turned out the way they did?
-No, (for one thing he was, uh, dead...) however, you can’t just blame a single person. Not only does it all trace down to a singular person, but blaming isn’t productive whatsoever. It’s contribution by all parties, and it wasn’t mainly him, sure, he didn’t do everything perfect, but he definitely didn’t ruin it
