I'm up in Ferry County at my ex's place watching our youngest while she's out of town on business. I love it up here and it's a double bonus that the ex is out of town 😜
I came up mid-week and have been enjoying the dregs of summer in a small town. I've dug for fossils at the Stonerose fossil site and fixed a leaky kitchen faucet.
Last night I went to the local high school football game. My youngest is a freshman in high school and she was very excited to go to the game. Of course, I barely saw her the whole night, except when our paths accidentally crossed and I got a quick look and tiny wave.
I don't know what the final score was but we got whomped! I can tell you that the other team scored four touchdowns in the first half, as well as FOUR 2-point conversions 😵
Yeah, 32-0 at the half, and that's my que to leave xD
I ended up back at the school after the game to pick my daughter up and I got to hear all about the game the cute boy on the other team that she talked to after the game ;)
Anyhow, these folks were the real winners of the night 🏆
