We all know The SUN. He is hot and lives in the sky. When the moon is gone, the sun stays with us like a friend at least with me. Nature has supported me at every step. Whenever I feel down, I always get filled with new energy by looking at the sun.
My mother tells me that my first encounter with the sun when I was born made me sneeze incessantly, and even today my relationship with the sun is similar. Whenever I went from shade to sun, I had to face continuous sneezing.
Once I cycled from Haryana to Kanyakumari, this journey was 3300 km long and I was alone on this route. Before starting the journey, I was very worried about how I would reach Kanyakumari alone, if I fell ill on the way, if the bicycle was stolen, where would I sleep, I sat on the terrace, troubled by many such questions. Peacocks were feeding around me and I was looking at the sun with a sad heart, and then the redness of the setting sun looked at me and said "don't worry I am with you". Suddenly my whole body got goosebumps and some kind of electricity ran through my whole body.
In the next few days, without any worries, I went alone on this long journey where the sun would accompany me every day until I stopped finding a safe place.
Another incident where I almost died, it happened that I had been trekking in the Indian Himalayas for 9 days, my rations were almost over and I was feeling very cold due to getting wet in the rain. I was on the glacier of 'Pin Parvati', a famous mountain pass in Himachal Pradesh. I hallucinated and got trapped in the crevasse zone. It was getting dark so I pitched a tent after seeing a safe place. I could not sleep the whole night because of fear. It snowed all night with a strong storm. I was afraid of dying by being buried in the snow. All hopes were just on rising of the sun.
And a miracle happened, the sun came at 0530am and brought the light with it. The first rays of the sun gave me so much strength that I packed my tent without any fear and returned from there. The height here was 5400 meters.
Don't know how many stories I have with Sun, if I sit down to write them all, many months will pass.
If I talk to the sun of my special moments, it will be there;
Mukteshwar in Uttarakhand, where I saw the sun in the rain.
On the beach of Kanyakumari where I watched the sun set with the boats. Trishul Peak, on whose forehead the sun looked like a dot (bindi). Chandratal in which saw the golden reflection of the rising sun. Saw the holy peak Nanda Devi around whose neck the rays of the sun wrapped around. Mount Everest in whose courtyard saw the redness of the sun playing.
Every day I start with the sun and set down with the sun. The source of my energy is the sun. Even today I wake up early to witness the first rays of the sun. I have seen myself becoming a better person under the shadow of the sun.
Holding the sun's finger, I have walked a spiritual path, where I have learned to meditate, where I have seen myself connecting with nature, where I have discarded bad thoughts, where I have strengthened myself by learning Suryasana. I am also on the way to rise like the sun and illuminate myself every day.
Do you also see a close relationship being established with nature?
