Introduction
Recently we went on a little trip to london to see some modern art as well as some installation, mutli media art. We love this stuff as it always challenges our thinking on what is art!
We went to the 180 Studios to see an exhibition of a friend of a friend. They have some interesting things going on there and is well worth looking up to see what is on if you are visiting London.

180 Studios
We were staying near St Pauls Cathedral in London which was not far from the studio, it is a glorious building and also well worth a visit!
You can see the studio from the outside, it does not prepare you for what is inside!
So these installations are from a well known artistic collective based in London.
The first thing we came into was a wall of statistics, coming in and out. These were depicing different number of things happening in the world. This would range from the number of pigs killed to the ammount of social media posts on facebook as well as many other things. It was a fascinating thing to watch!
Now the whole exhibition was held in a big space as these were big installations. Now this one was like lots of planets and moons and suns all spinning and changing your perception.
There was also an interesting musical piece called Chromatic, you can read from the description the link between music and art while also using technology
Our time was very freaky to be honest with the pendulum lights swinging in a dark room which had a slopped floor, The shadows changed constantly
Now this piece was ever changing and seemed to represent a conversation within the mind or the self.
Conclusion
Now behind this amazing work it is an interesting mix of video, sound, coding and thought. I have not put up all 8 exhibitions as you really need to go and see yourself. While I realise this may not be for everyone as an experience it was amazing. How deep you go into the rhetoric behind it is up to you. However, as an experience it is thought provoking, spine tingling and just damn right weird. If you like all those things then it is definitely worth a visit if you are in London.
