The last of today's hoarfrost images are these four focus stacks. I am having to do manual focus changes as I am to poor to have a rail or fancier gear. That being said I am pretty happy with the quality of the images that I am able to produce even with the manual work.
It got nice and cold last night, 15F/-9C and there was a good amount of moisture in the air, so we got a nice layer of hoarfrost that built up some pretty killer structures. This is the last in the series of shots I made today. The snow is inbound and the sun was out for a while this morning, so I took full advantage of it while it was hitting the yard.
