Hello fellow Steemians!
I want to write about my "journey" in learning pixel art drawing, as often as I can. For me, to be able to draw what I dream is really a great feeling, and digital medium helps me to accomplish that (as I don't have great skills in hand-drawn images... to put it elegantly), especially pixel art, where you can work dot by dot the whole image.

Where do I start... That was literally my first question. As I search through the web for learning materials (I really wanted to get some books about this subject... ) I found two courses on Udemy, that present the basic concepts (related to drawing/painting) and throughout the course (step-by-step) get to more advanced concepts.

Learn to Create Pixel Art for your Games
Learn Professional Pixel Art & Animation for Games

The tools that I've used to are Piskel, a free online editor (you can download and install on your computer as well), and Pyxel Edit a paid application (they offer a free versions, with some limitations).
