The same week Madeleine went missing, extremely wealthy people were meeting and staying in the same resort as her. Including directors from Stemcor, the Oppenheimer company.
People who could afford to stay in 5 star golf resorts, not cheap low end ones like the Praia da Luz Ocean Club.
Several have been identified. One is the nephew of Margaret Hodges, a politician from the UK and linked to the Oppenheimer family. He was a board director of Stemcor (Edmonds) and hot tailed it back to Switzerland before his "holiday" was over.
