Great Post! Thanks. Since a lot of the Steemit.com community is encouraging "original content" I think that users could easily assume that with no source the person posting the content is claiming it as theirs.
In all honesty if someone cites a source for a photo I don't even look to see if it is copyrighted. I think users should try to use sites that have Public Domain images but I'm not going to try to track down the source of an image that is posted on a 100 sites or more.
I'd appreciate it if users stopped putting photos in #photography that aren't theirs unless they are discussing the photo or photographer. Same thing with art most of the time. Ahh. but that's off topic.
