This was a picture I took way back in the year 2013 and had blogged about it as the pizza dosa. It was liked by my fb friends. A few days back, I saw a you tube video, proclaiming that they had a tutorial about how to make the pizza dosa.
I am aware that the internet is full of plagiarism and theft. A lot of my articles have been taken right off and copy pasted on other sites, especially the ones I painstakingly wrote on the Bhagavad Gita.
There used to be a writing site known as factoidz. The owner later changed the site name to knoji.com and also literally forced the writers to write marketing based articles if they wanted to continue. He eventually stopped paying and also did not allow us writers to remove our well researched articles. There were sites like niume which allowed writers to republish work but that too fell. Knoji owner still makes a huge profit from the articles written by good writers all over the world. Most of them were demotivated and stopped writing.
Plagiarism is present in steemit also but at least steem cleaners and cheetah are doing a great job of removing and warning such users.
Why copy paste when you can write yur own content. Long posts need not necessarily get great upvotes. If you want a great upvote, make sure your work is original and even if you do refer, please source the work. Steemit is not 'a make you rich within seconds' project. It is a platform where you can share your work for others to appreciate and if possible get good feedback. The votes are only like the cream on the cake.
- Before submitting your posts, check online for plagiarism
- Source images and reference material
- Make sure that you write posts in your own words
- Write on subjects that you are aware of
- Never be under the impression that you won't be caught for cheating
