After two weeks of intensive flight operations at the nearby Nato airfield, calm has returned and time to sort, process and publish the resulting images as articles at Steemit. The AMX from Italy were flown daily in two rounds, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. There were no night flights. The accompanying Eurofighters have changed almost daily with the base in Italy, so they flew back and forth.
The present picture series shows the four AMXs in the parking lot and then two of them in the start preparation and departure. They start and land often together, a maneuver that is prohibited to the German pilots. Noteworthy was the large number of spotters who even came from Holland and Austria just to see the AMX.
Nach zwei Wochen intensiven Flugbetriebes am nahen Nato Flugplatz ist nun wieder Ruhe eingekehrt und Zeit die entstandenen Bilder zu sortieren, zu bearbeiten und als Artikel bei Steemit zu veröffentlichen. Die AMX aus Italien wurden täglich in zwei Runden geflogen, einmal am Vormittag und einmal am Nachmittag. Nachtflüge gab es keine. Die begleitenden Eurofighter haben fast täglich mit der Basis in Italien gewechselt, sie sind also hin und her geflogen.
Die vorliegende Bilderserie zeigt die vier AMX am Parkplatz und dann zwei davon in der Startvorbereitung und im Abflug. Sie starten und landen oft zusammen, ein Manöver das den deutschen Piloten untersagt ist. Bemerkenswert war die große Anzahl von Spottern die bis aus Holland und Österreich angereist waren nur um die AMX zu sehen.
